WebDecember 2003: a subset of the COD is created: PCOD (Predicted Crystallography Open Database). This is an attempt to gather all these theoretical crystal structures which will very probably soon exceed in number the really observed ones. November 2003: added ~300 new CIFs from AMCSD. WebThe Crystal Structure Database has been compiled by Bob Downs and Paul Heese of the University of Arizona. It includes every structure published in both the American Mineralogist, The Canadian Mineralogist, the European Journal of Mineralogy and is beginning to include structures from Physics and Chemistry of Minerals.
