WebIPS provides services to students and families experiencing homelessness in accordance with the McKinney-Vento Act. The McKinney-Vento Act ensures immediate enrollment and educational stability for homeless students. The McKinney-Vento Act defines homeless as an individual who lacks a fixed, regular, adequate nighttime residence. WebThrough partnerships with more than 150 area employers to help clients find jobs, Thresholds’ Employment Specialists place clients in jobs of their choice to create real economic independence and further their recovery. Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is an evidence-based model of supported employment supported by SAMHSA.
